I want to highlight two areas regarding Colorado's water.  The first is Colorado's first water plan.  Due to Executive Order from Governor Hickenlooper, this plan is currently being drafted with the Colorado Water Conservation Board heading the efforts.  Click here to be directed to recent news about the final draft of the Colorado Water Plan.

The second is the Colorado Water Conservation Board's instream flow program.  This is a program where water rights holders can loan, donate or lease their water right to the Colorado Water Conservation Board as an instream flow right.  This way, water can be left in the stream to increase stream health.  A wonderful program, check it out!
